iPhone Data Recovery
Losing data on your iPhone can be particularly frustrating just because of the sheer amount of information it can hold. Not only does your iPhone have tons of apps (both free and paid, I’m sure) but it also has personal notes, phone numbers and contact information, as well ad photos and sometimes even video. Losing any part or all of this data can be devastating to an iPhone user, and many of us would go through hoops to get it back!
Luckily, there is a relatively easy way to perform iPhone data recovery…if you’re iPhone isn’t physically damaged, of course. Go ahead and connect your iPhone to your computer, and let it sync up with iTunes. Click the summary tab and then click restore, and you should be in business. Depending on how much information you had on your iPhone will determine the amount of time it will take to restore your data – this could be a few hours.
If your iPhone is physically damaged, you’ve got a much bigger problem. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I get questions all the time from people asking if there’s a cheap way to recover data – and 9 times out of 10 the answer is simply No! The best advice I can offer for someone who has a physically damaged iPhone is to go to the nearest Apple store and be very charming to one of the employees. This is hit or miss – they could fix it for you, sometimes even give you a new phone. On the other hand, I’ve heard of situations where they simply can’t (or won’t) do anything for you, or will at least charge you boatloads of money to have it done.
